SOWISO is looking for a medior full stack developer

We are a young and international team of people from different backgrounds and we're looking for a full stack developer to join our team! In this versatile role you help to expand and renew our platform for universities, colleges and publishers. The role is flexible and offers a lot of autonomy. You will come to work in both ongoing and new projects with different teams.

Although we're Amsterdam based, we have a global mindset with both employees and customers from around the world.

We value a healthy work life balance and promote that actively.

During our breaks we regularly play a game of Mario Kart (on the GameCube) and we also play a game of squash every now and then (in real life) in the USC across the office. We also organize weekly activities, both social and business.

For this position, you need to…

• have followed computer science / mathematics or a comparable study at University or College level,
• have at least 3 years of relevant work experience,
• are available between 32-40 hours (possibly less hours per week in consultation),
• live in The Netherlands,
• speak English,
• have experience with Linux,
• be familiar with the principles of Secure coding and with the OWASP top 10.

SOWISO is op zoek naar een medior full stack developer

Wij zijn een jong en internationaal team van mensen met verschillende achtergronden. We zijn op zoek naar een full stack developer om ons team te komen versterken. In deze veelzijdige rol help jij ons platform voor universiteiten, hogescholen en uitgevers uit te breiden en te vernieuwen.

De rol is flexibel en biedt veel autonomie. Je zult werken in zowel lopende als in nieuw projecten.

Wij vinden een gezonde work/life balance belangrijk en proberen daar actief aan bij te dragen. Tijdens onze pauzes spelen we regelmatig een potje Mario Kart (op de GameCube) en we gaan geregeld een potje squashen (in het echt). Daarnaast organiseren we wekelijkse activiteiten, zowel sociaal als zakelijk.

Je voldoet minstens aan de volgende eisen:

• je hebt informatica/wiskunde of een dergelijke studie gevolgd op WO of HBO niveau,
• je hebt minstens 3 jaar relevante werkervaring,
• je bent tussen de 32-40 uur beschikbaar (eventueel minder uren per week in overleg),
• je woont in Nederland,
• je spreekt goed Engels,
• je hebt ervaring met Linux,
• je bent bekend met de principes van "Secure Coding" en de OWASP Top 10
