For the position of International Junior Business Developer, SOWISO is looking for an innovative/entrepreneurial personality who will help us grow our business internationally 


Job description 

You will either be looking for new opportunities within our existing partners or finding new ones.  Having an entrepreneurial spirit is, therefore, a plus. There is no need to have a PhD in theoretical physics, but being comfortable with selling a SaaS / EdTech product is important!


We need you to be proactive and take initiative when it comes to existing or new projects and campaigns. Flexibility is important as the international aspect of your job.


You will join a young team with a diverse background. You will work closely with your marketing, sales and customer success colleagues, but we also expect you to work independently. At our office, we have developed a hybrid Dutch/English language, so preferably you speak both these languages, but Dutch isn’t a must, however, English is. 


We play Mario Kart (on the GameCube) as well as Squash (in real life) to sharpen the senses! We also organize regular social or business-related activities.

  • Have an entrepreneurial mindset. 
  • Be innovative & creative. 
  • Be communicative.
  • Be a quick learner.
  • Be available for 32-40 hours per week (less hours per week can be discussed). 
  • Speak English, and preferably Dutch.

  • Locate and contact new potential customers of our online learning solution. 
  • Set up and manage new sales campaigns.
  • Develop new and existing strategies for SOWISO to grow. 
  • Host and join events.
  • Work in a growing and international team within our office in Amsterdam.
