Hi there! We are Hidde & Ainhoa, and we make up SOWISO’S (small but growing) marketing team. SOWISO is a software company that creates online learning, homework and testing solution for universities and colleges. 

We are looking for a video editor student who can help us create video content from the beginning to the end. You will have the chance to work on diverse exciting projects that require video content. Think about: product videos, tutorials, interviews, and much more.

You will be learning a lot by doing, but you will also be mentored by our marketing colleagues that have experience with video production and editing. 

Meet your marketing colleagues

Hidde is a digital marketer with a lot of technical know-how. This means that his specialism primarily lies in technical SEO, programming, graphic design, and everything else that involves technology. Next to that, Hidde loves the strategy/growth marketing aspect of marketing and is always on the lookout for the next opportunity.  

Ainhoa focuses on the communications dimension of marketing. Her role consists of understanding our audience, crafting marketing materials that connect with them, and communicating the value of our products. She is responsible for content creation, copywriting, and coordinating our participation in events and awards.

In this position, you will also work with many other welcoming colleagues from other departments.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting our team in video shootings. 
2. Editing videos and adding elements like animations, texts, and music.
3. Ensuring all the content is smooth and aligned with our brand guidelines.
4. Participating in brainstorming sessions.

We are looking for someone who…

1. Is studying for a degree in the field of multimedia design, video editing, or equivalent. 
2. Is at least a 3rd-year student.
3. Has proven video editing skills and attention to detail.
4. Knows how to use video editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro.
5. Is available at least 24 hours a week for 4 months and able to start September 1st, 2022.
6. Is proficient in English.
7. Will travel to our Amsterdam office at least 1 to 2 days a week.

Bonus points if you have…

1. Affinity with the education and/or the tech sector.
2. Know how to handle a Nintendo GameCube/enjoy playing board games/are knowledgeable about memes ;)
